Rospotrebnadzor believes that it is meaningless, and in some cases harmful processing of the streets of disinfectants in the prevention of coronavirus. This was stated by Deputy head of the service Irina Bragina, reports “Interfax”.
According to her, in open spaces it is recommended to treat first contact surfaces: benches, playgrounds. “Of course, just watering the sidewalk — we have no such recommendations, and in this sense is special, too, no,” — said Bragin.
She said that Rospotrebnadzor recommended to carry out the treatment in the night time when minimal presence of people. “And must be residents informed, how much, when will be this treatment,” concluded Bragin.
In early June it was reported that Russian scientists will develop a new way of cleaning the premises from the coronavirus with the help of the durable and inexpensive UV LEDs. Experts plan to get a led light with very short wavelengths because only in this case it will effectively clean the confined space from infection.
