In ground gas storage facility in Kazan exploded liquefied gas. About it reports “Interfax” citing a source.
According to the interlocutor Agency, the incident occurred on the street North-West. As a result, one person was killed and another three were injured. Information was confirmed by a RIA Novosti source in the emergency services. The press service of EMERCOM of Russia reported about four victims.
At the moment rescuers are trying to localize the fire. There is a threat of distribution of fire on other tanks, as well as to neighboring buildings. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
January 9, an explosion occurred at a refinery in the Komi Republic. Depressurization of one of the nine tanks at the refinery, which contained an additive for fuel. This was followed by the explosion, which resulted in about 50-70 cubic meters of liquid, which caught fire.
