Former football player of clubs Tinkoff Russian Premier League (RPL), “Anji” and “Dynamo” Christopher Samba has described racism in Russia. His words are quoted Sports.ru with reference to the Athletic.
Samba remembered that I had experienced the discomfort during trips to the store. “People don’t expect that I can buy the good stuff. It hurts,” said a black player.
The lawyer stressed that in Russia, he defended the fact that he’s a football player. “It helped, but I still had this [unpleasant] feeling,” said the athlete.
Samba, Congolese footballer, he also has French citizenship. Except “Anji” and “Dynamo” he’s famous speeches in the Greek “Panathinaikos” and the English “Aston Villa”.
7 June the British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua took part in a rally against racism in his hometown, Watford. Many celebrities have done the same thing. American singer Madonna has supported the protesters in the protection of the rights of blacks on the March, which took place in London, and rapper Kanye West joined the protest in the South side of Chicago.
The protests began after the death in Minneapolis of the African-American George Floyd, who was rudely arrested by the police. He laid it on the pavement, one of the law enforcement officers pushed him with his knee on the neck. Floyd died from strangulation.
