The sister of North Korean leader Kim Jeong who is the first Deputy head of the Department of the Central Committee of the workers ‘ party of Korea (WPK), has threatened military action against South Korea, writes the Associated Press.
The influential sister of North Korean leader Saturday, June 13, called South Korea an “enemy”, and warned that the country will soon see the collapse of the “useless” inter-Korean liaison office at the border. She said that the armed forces of North Korea will determine how to respond to a propaganda campaign activists aimed at North Koreans. “I think now is the time to confidently end the relationship with the authorities of South Korea. Soon we will take the next step. Using the power vested in me Supreme leader of our party and the country, I ordered the division of relations with the enemy determined to take the next step,” said Kim Yu-Jeong.
Sharp rhetoric Kim shows her high status in the leadership of North Korea. Kim Yu-Jeong is considered the most influential woman in the country and the closest confidante of her brother. State-run media recently confirmed that it is now responsible for relations with South Korea.
Earlier it was reported that North Korea has shut down all communication lines with Seoul.
