Stream military parade on red square, devoted to the 75 anniversary since the victory in the great Patriotic war, will begin June 24 at 10 am Moscow time. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the announcements of Russian TV channels.
It is noted that on 22:00 a planned display of fireworks.
Previously, on 15 June it was reported that more than ten Russian cities have canceled the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war, scheduled for June 24. By now we know that the event will be held in Yakutsk, Chelyabinsk and Penza, Yaroslavl, Pskov, Saransk, Orenburg, Nizhny Tagil and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, as well as Belgorod, Kursk, Orel regions and Perm Krai.
At the end of may it became known that President Vladimir Putin declared the day of the Victory parade on 24 June, the anniversary of the solemn parade of 1945. According to Putin’s decree, this day is declared a public holiday. Traditional celebrations on may 9 was postponed due to the pandemic coronavirus. The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin in may, said that for city residents with free access to red square on the day of the parade will not.
