Russia expelled two Czech diplomats. About it the Ambassador of the country Vítězslav Pivonka told RIA Novosti.

According to him, Moscow declared that it is a response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the Czech Republic. The Ambassador added that Moscow and Prague can start the consultation relationship.

Informed diplomat was summoned to the Russian foreign Ministry. This happened due to the expulsion of two employees of the Russian centre of science and culture, Konchakova and Rybakova from Prague on 5 June. They were declared persona non grata. Moscow promised to the mirror to respond to such measures.

According to the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrew Babish, the decision to send employees of the Russian Embassy in Prague is connected with “rezinovy scandal” that occurred this spring.
