NATO expects Ukraine’s adoption of the five laws after joining the program extended features. This was reported by Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanyshyna in an interview with “European truth”.
According to her, these include the laws on parliamentary control of security and defence, the security Service of Ukraine, on exploration, on state secrets, and defense procurement. Another condition put forward by the Alliance to audit the effectiveness of implementation of Annual national programme under the auspices of the Commission “Ukraine — NATO”.
Stefanyshyna promised that after receiving the new status of Ukraine will seek and will join NATO.
“Ukraine has done everything it can to clearly declare not only the willingness of joining the program extended features, but the willingness to use additional tools,” — said the politician.
June 12 it became known that Ukraine has become a member of the Partnership extended the capabilities of NATO. The same status was awarded to five more countries: Georgia, Jordan, Australia, Finland and Sweden. It provides additional opportunities for joint exercises with the forces of the Alliance.

Answering a question of journalist, not to complicate negotiations with Russia in a public statement about joining NATO, he said that Ukraine is an independent country, and orientation for membership in NATO and the European Union enshrined in the Constitution.
