The European Union has urged to begin investigation after the discovery of mass graves in the Libyan city of Tarhuna, who was until June 5, under the control of the Libyan national army (LNA) field Marshal Khalifa the Haftarot. In the PNS soon declared intention to capture Sirte and al-Dzhufra — according to the interior Minister of the NTC, Fathi Basegi, Russia has plans to create military bases on the basis of the located two objects.
The NTC forces continue to push units of the LNA with the help of Turkey, which, in particular, provides the Tripoli army air support. The army of the Haftarot, according to the Pentagon, at the end of may received from Russia a minimum of 14 combat aircraft, including MiG-29 fighters and su-24 bombers. Applied this technique in the last battle for Sirte, was unclear.
