President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko invited to the Republic of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and gave him a shirt. This was reported on the website of the Belarusian Embassy in Kiev.
On Tuesday, June 16, was held a meeting of Ambassador of Belarus Igor Sokol Igor Zhovkva, Deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine. They, in particular, discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The Ambassador conveyed to Zelensky from Lukashenka’s invitation to visit Belarus with an official visit in 2020, as well as shirts for the Ukrainian President and his wife. The gift was reciprocal: earlier Zelensky wife sent Ukrainian embroidery leaders of some countries, including Lukashenko.
Zelensky transmitted in the message Lukashenko noted that the Belarusian embroidered shirt “emphasizes the peculiarity and cultural relationship, and proximity” of Ukrainians and Belarusians.
It was reported earlier that Lukashenko put on the embroidery for Zelensky letter, which stated that Ukrainians and Belarusians “has historically stood shoulder to shoulder, defended the right to independent and free development”.
