Experts on cyber security from Cyble Research Team has discovered a for sale, a database containing information about millions of Internet users. The leak reported on the website of the company.
As it became known Cyble Research Team, the database contains information about accounts on different sites. Most of the profiles, the data of which put up for sale, it was a few years ago. For example, the database information appeared about 300 millions of AliExpress users who created their accounts in 2014.
In addition, the attackers put up for sale personal information of 145 million Ebay users, 77 million users Sony PlayStation Network, 35 million users of Steam (Valve) and many others.
Experts gave some tips on how not to become victims of fraud. They recommended never send personal data through e-mail or SMS, to use strong passwords, enable automatic software updates on the computer and phone, and use antivirus.
In may it was reported that the attackers put up for sale personal data of more than nine million customers through courier delivery service SDEK. It was alleged that it had information about the arrival and location of cargo as well as personal information of customers of courier services, including their INN. Thus in SDEK said that the leak was not.
