Ship “Health” with health workers visit remote settlements of the Khabarovsk territory. This was reported on the website of the regional government.

On Board are 19 doctors, including a nephrologist, an ophthalmologist, an ENT, an internist, a rheumatologist, a surgeon, a tuberculosis specialist and a psychiatrist-narcologist. “This year we added a team of endocrinologist and an allergist-immunologist. On Board you can make the electrocardiogram, ultrasound, to examine the vision and to pass basic tests,” — said the chief doctor of the Territorial clinical diagnostic center in Komsomolsk-on-Amur Olga Pankova.

It is clarified that the ship will visit 32 towns. Last medical check-up will be residents of the village of Belgo in Komsomolsk area.

The project also aims to change the nature of the relationship between doctors and patients, increasing to 70 percent coverage of primary prevention, introduction of modern clinical guidelines, reducing mortality from cardiovascular and oncological diseases, increase in life expectancy of Russians at the age of 78 and more. In total, the project will allocate more than 1.7 trillion rubles.
