Zelensky violation of quarantine will consider in court

Khmelnitsky city district court will consider an administrative report against the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky who violates a quarantine imposed because of the pandemic coronavirus. This is reported by “Ukrainian news”.

The meeting will be held on the morning of June 19. Zelensky face a fine from 34 thousand to 170 thousand hryvnias.

The Ukrainian President has broken the quarantine on June 3, drinking coffee inside one of the restaurants in Kiev. While food service establishments could only work to take away or to serve customers on the summer grounds.

The Ukrainian interior Ministry has promised to investigate a possible violation by the head of state quarantine rules. Deputy Anton Gerashchenko said that Zelensky has already been fined in 2019, when at the election he showed his ballot.

Later, the chief state sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko stood up for the President. Zelensky did not break the rules of quarantine, and checked their compliance, said Lyashko.
