Russian convict who escaped from hospital while serving a sentence for murder and robbery, in Finland caught after illegally crossing the border. This was announced by the Federal service of execution of punishments (FSIN) on his page in “Vkontakte”.
According to the Agency, 14 June at 11.30 a.m. the border patrol of the border guard of Southeast Finland arrested a man in the area of Ylämaa. He came to the country from Russia in the morning of the same day, notified the Finnish border guard Russian colleagues. Finnish border guard service launched an investigation in connection with unauthorized crossing of the Russian-Finnish border.
FSIN reported that a fugitive is convicted Mikhail Golikov, who burned alive person in the car, and another hacked to death over dose of drugs. He was sentenced to 20 years ‘ imprisonment, and in 2019 the remaining five years of the term he was replaced by forced labor.
After that, he went to the hospital to the city of Achinsk of Krasnoyarsk Krai, from where he escaped on the night of 4 may 2020.
Golikov said that after escaping from the hospital, he got a taxi from Achinsk to Novosibirsk, where hitchhiking went to Petersburg. Then the convict reached Finland. When he had himself forged documents in the name kitty Dmitry, born in 1989.
