Discussion insertion in the Constitution of the amendments and the preparation and conducting of the nationwide voting are subject to strong external pressure. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs, head of the Commission for the protection of the sovereignty and prevent interference in the internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrey Klimov, reports TASS.
According to him, today, June 18, begins to meet the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, “which was initiated from outside of the debate over the text of the amendments to our Constitution.” Klimov expressed the hope that the qualifications of members of the Commission and their authority will not allow them “in favor of a particular political environment to do a variety of conclusions”.
The Senator also suggested that a vote could be subject to cyberattacks. He stressed that it is every time he mentioned before the election and vote.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has declared the day a national vote on July 1 and urged citizens to take an active part in it. The voting will begin June 25. To stretch the procedure for a few days suggested the Central election Commission to make possible the observance of sanitary norms imposed because of the pandemic coronavirus. In particular, we are talking about the organization of social distance, and measuring the temperature of the electorate.
