Volunteer told about the first Russian vaccine inoculation from COVID-19

One of 18 volunteers who introduced the first experimental Russian vaccine against coronavirus, spoke about his sensations after vaccination. It is reported TASS with reference to the message of Russian defense Ministry.

“Everything is fine, normal shot, no pain, feel nothing. I have nothing heroic in it do not see”, — he said.

Earlier on Thursday it became known that a group of 18 Russian military has been vaccinated. The study was conducted on the basis of the Main military clinical hospital of academician Burdenko. Test participants were divided into two groups of nine people, to introduce them to different vaccine components.

The defense Ministry added that none of the volunteers complained about the condition, they have not revealed adverse reactions and complications. Participants in the experiment regularly measure temperature, pulse, breathing rate, and other indicators.

In total, the study involved two forms of the vaccine liquid and powder (lyophilized), both administered intramuscularly.

Previously, the vaccine was tested for toxicity, safety, immunogenicity and protective efficacy in large and small animals.
