The self-proclaimed head of the Luhansk national Republic (LNR) Leonid beekeeper made an appeal to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, threatening to return the full alert mode. On Saturday, June 20, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the Agency, the beekeeper promised to do it if the Ukrainian military will not stop shelling, adding that the national police, units of the interior Ministry and health agencies are already on high alert after attacks by the Armed forces of Ukraine (APU), which resulted in the death of one civilian and three wounded.
Chapter LNR said that the Ukrainian side is able to fulfill the obligations of the cease-fire, but because of what happened the attacks are perceived exclusively as a political move. He called Zelensky to prevent the death of civilians and to fulfill a campaign promise — to bring Ukraine and republics of Donbass world.
On 15 June it was reported that the Ukrainian authorities have confessed to the murder of the head of Department of the national police LNR Oleg Anashchenko. His elimination was a retaliation for shot down near Lugansk airport Il-76.
