The leader of protests against racism and police brutality in London, actress Iman Ayton demanded a meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson, reports Reuters.
She said that is the man who stands at the head of 20 thousand people at each protest. “All the others seem to communicate with me, except Boris, so I would like to talk,” said Ayton.
The leader of the protesters demanded to dismiss the head of the government Commission on racial inequality Munira Mirza. “She’s the one who does not believe in institutional racism,” said Ayton.
Previously, Johnson has threatened to punish the participants of mass protests and riots in the UK in accordance with the law. The Prime Minister also added that he supports those who violate the measures of social distancing. He stressed that such actions threaten to jeopardize the whole progress made in the fight against the spread of coronavirus progress.
