The President of Russia Vladimir Putin, answering the question about his successor as head of state, said that the need to work. He said in an interview with the Rossiya 1 TV channel, reports RIA Novosti.
“We have to work not to look for a successor”, — quotes its Agency.
In the same interview, Putin did not rule out the possibility that he will run for another term in 2024 in the case of the amendments to the Constitution.
Putin himself and his entourage evasively answer questions about his successor. A year ago the President spoke, what he thinks about this since 2000, but the final choice is up to the voters.
Last autumn, TV presenter and Director General of news Agency “Russia today” Dmitry Kiselyov said that the head of state is preparing a successor and “from morning to night” think about it, what the Kremlin said that “until the presidential election is still far away”.
