The Russian authorities will help to convert cars from petrol to gas, increasing the share of subsidy of related expenses. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reported on the website of the Russian government.
The new order involves increase in 2020, the regulations of subsidizing the costs of businesses and individuals to transfer a car twice, with a 30 to 60 percent of the total cost of the work. It is expected that the measure will stimulate demand for this type of fuel.
The resolution makes changes to one of the applications to the state program “energy Development”, which implies an increase in the consumption of natural gas as a motor fuel to 2.7 billion cubic meters by the end of 2024.
