Kazakhstan ahead of Russia on the availability of electricity for the population. The rankings were compiled by RIA Novosti.
According to calculations of the Agency, Kazakhstan was ranked seventh among European countries, and Russia was on the 11th position. Both countries ahead of Ukraine and Belarus, which took the 15-th and 30-th place, respectively.
Leaders by quantity of electricity, which citizens can buy at the average monthly salary, was Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway. As explained by the Agency in the Liechtenstein incomes are among the highest in Europe, and the cost of electricity is lower than in many developed countries.
The top three countries with the most electricity is not available, the Agency has included Moldova, Romania and Latvia. As explained by analysts in Moldova, electricity is not very expensive, however the limiting factor of low wages.
