The President of the United States Donald trump admitted the possibility of meeting with the leader of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro. He stated this in an interview with the publication Axios.
“Maduro would like to meet. And I never against the games,” said trump.
The American leader admitted that he is not particularly regrets that followed the advice of his former John Bolton and supported the leader of the Venezuelan opposition of Juan Guido. The tramp, in his own words, was against what was happening in Venezuela. “Guido chose. I think I was not sure, but stated that someone will like it, others not,” said the American President.
At the end of April 2019, the opposition leader, Guido encouraged soldiers and people to overthrow Maduro. He said that the army took his side, and called the events “the final phase of “operation Freedom””. The next day, Maduro announced his victory over the forces of the opposition. Russia supported the incumbent President, the United States recognized the legitimacy of Guido.
