A second branch of the gas pipeline “Power of Siberia” length of about 800 kilometers will be built by the company “Stroytransgaz” (STNG), it will spend 160 billion rubles. This is with reference to two sources close to STING, and one source close to “Gazprom”, reports owned by Grigory Berezkin the RBC.
The route will lead from the Kovykta field in the Irkutsk region to the Chayandinskoye field in Yakutia. Gas from the second already available in China, and the first is expected to be in operation at the end of 2022.
Plans of consolidation indicate new appointments of top managers of contractor companies, as “Gazprom” meant such an intention without specifying firms in the Memorandum to placing of Eurobonds.
Earlier “Tape.ru” reported serious problems in the Chayandinskoye field, which arose from the haste with exploration, many malpractice and ignoring technical violations. Problems with raw material base, which supplies gas to China for 30-year-old contract can be broken, become known only after the launch of the pipeline in operation.
