More than 10 thousand inhabitants of Udmurtiya will receive access to a stable cellular communication and the Internet. This was told in the press service of head and the government of the Russian region, reports “Udmurtskaya Pravda”.
So, Telecom buildings will appear on the territory of six districts, including Grakhovskaya, Net, Karakulinskogo, Cisowski, UVA, Sharkansky. “Today, the demand for cellular communication and mobile Internet is not a whim but a necessity for a comfortable life”, — told the Minister of Informatization and communications of Udmurt Republic Timur Madjitov.
Also in the framework of the national project “Digital economy” in the region, work is continuing on construction of fiber-optic lines and connection of socially significant objects to the network.
Earlier it was reported that more than 350 social projects in Transbaikalia will provide high speed Internet access to the end of 2020. 209 objects will be connected through fiber optic network, and 38 facilities, which are located in remote villages, will provide the satellite connection.
This initiative is implemented under the Federal program “Information infrastructure” of the national project “Digital economy”. It involves the increase of internal costs for the development of the digital economy at the expense of all sources, the creation of sustainable and secure information and telecommunications infrastructure for high speed transmission, processing and storage of large amounts of data, as well as the transfer of government agencies and organizations to use mainly software developed in Russia. Only the implementation of the national project it is planned to allocate more than 1.8 trillion rubles until 2024.
