In the framework of round table organized by the Institute for social research (AISI), the experts shared their assessments of readiness to vote on the amendments to the Constitution and measures for the protection of freedom of expression of citizens. The results of the discussion, RIA Novosti reported.
Practice head of the political analysis VTSIOM Mikhail Mamonov noted earlier, about 68 percent of the respondents declared desire to take part in the vote and 49 percent of respondents answered that would participate with a high degree of probability. “According to yesterday’s poll, 71 percent stated willingness to vote and 54 percent of Russians declare that with high probability they will vote. Thus, we see that the mobilization process is, and apparently it will continue in the future,” he said.
According to Mamonov, these figures are rising due to rising public awareness and the possibility of early voting from June 25: “the indicator can give an example that the open question many people name the date of voting.”
According to the expert, in terms of voting for the amendment will vote from 67 to 71 percent of Russians. Vs – 28 to 32 percent and about 1 percent of people will spoil the ballot, at the polling stations.
According to Konstantin Kostin, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for civil society development (Fcsd), the data that was presented by VTsIOM, quite expected. Voting on amendments will take place from 24 June to 1 July inclusive, the last day will be outside.
