Rumors that in Libya there are Russian mercenaries, based on false information. With such a rebuttal was made by the Director of the Department of international organizations Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia Pyotr Ilyichev, reports RIA Novosti.

“People, supposedly fighting in Libya, actually never left our country. The so-called “wounded” quite healthy. It’s all available in the public space and again check”, — he stressed. Ilichev said that the lists of “mercenaries” copied from the Ukrainian database “Peacemaker”, which also indicates their unreliability.
