Almost 45 percent of Ukrainians voted for it, to for stop the war, provide the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts special status, which implies autonomy within Ukraine. This is evidenced by the study conducted by the centre “Social monitoring” writes “Strenia”.
According to the survey, 18.9 per cent of respondents said they would support the provision of uncontrolled territories of Donbass autonomy, another 25.7 per cent probably would have supported this decision. Only 44.6 percent.
Negatively evaluate the possibility of granting special status to 37.4% (probably would not have supported and confident that the would not support). More than 18 percent of Ukrainians are unable to answer this question.
In addition, the majority of respondents (45.4%) believe that the settlement of the conflict in the interests of Ukraine should fulfill the Minsk agreement. That arrangements is to give said 23.5 percent, more 31.1% were unable or refused to answer.
The study was conducted from 10 to 19 June on the territory of Ukraine, except for the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Pollsters interviewed 3 037 persons.
