Vice-President of Turkey Fuat oktay said that the plans of the enemies of Tripoli crashed through the commitment of the national consensus government (NTC) of Libya. On Wednesday, June 24, informs news Agency “Anadolu” in his Telegram channel.

Oktay assured that Ankara will continue to support the Libyan people until in the country there is peace, stability and justice.

“The countries that ignored the attempt to overthrow the legitimate authority in Libya, began to be indignant, as soon as the city came back under the control of the legitimate government. The putschists must realize and accept that the future of peace in Libya will be determined in the framework of international law”, — said the Turkish Vice-President.

On the eve of the Turkish foreign Ministry sharply reacted to the words of the President of France Emmanuel Makron, who said that Ankara is playing a “dangerous game”, supporting the national consensus government of Libya. The official representative the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkey Hami Aksoy said that France is directly responsible for the chaos in Libya since the Paris years provided support to the illegal militias of the Libyan national army (LNA) field Marshal Khalifa the Haftarot.

In 2011, the Libyan civil war broke out, during which he was overthrown and killed Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, who ruled the country since 1969. Currently in Libya there is a situation of dual power: on the East in the city of Tobruk, seat of the Parliament, headed by field Marshal Khalifa the Haftarot, in the West in Tripoli — the national consensus government. While the NTC has actively supported Turkey, and on the side of the LNA are Egypt and Saudi Arabia, is also its unofficial allies are France and the UAE — the latter, according to some, supplying army equipment, including purchased from Russia.
