The President of Russia Vladimir Putin awarded the state prize actor Konstantin Habenskogo, who is the founder of the charity Fund, for outstanding achievement in the field of charitable activities. On Wednesday, June 24, reports TASS.
The awards for the year 2019 was held in the Catherine hall of the First building of the Kremlin — it is noted that this is the first such event there since the beginning of the epidemic of coronavirus in Russia. Usually the ceremony takes place on June 12, Russia Day, but this year it was postponed to a later date.
“Not all awarded state prizes will be able to be here, signs of the laureates will be awarded to them later,” — said the Russian leader.
In addition to Knightley, the award from the hands of the head of state received Director of the Museum-estate of Rachmaninov “Ivanovka” Alexander Ermakov, writer, literary critic Valentin Kurbatov and Director of the Irkutsk regional centre of the Russian language, folklore and Ethnography, Galina of Medvedev — noted for their achievements in the field of literature and art.
State prize in science and technology received the Director of the Museum of anthropology and Ethnography named after Peter the Great (Kunstkamera) Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei Golovnev, scientists of the Institute of Thermophysics named Kutateladze of the Siberian branch of RAS Mikhail Predtechensky, Dmitri Markovic and Vladimir Meledin, as well as the CEO of the company “Biocad” Dmitry Morozov, biologists Andrei Ulitin and Tanya Chernovskaya.
Laureates of the state prize for outstanding achievements in humanitarian work became the composer David Tukhmanov and chief medical officer of capital hospital №15 named after Filatov Valery Vechorko; for outstanding achievements in the sphere of human rights activity was the Chairman of the Board of the Union of families of servicemen of Russia Maria Bolshakova.
