Improving the digital literacy of Russians, estimated at 250 million rubles

For the implementation of programs to improve digital literacy may require up to 250 million rubles from the budget. This assessment was presented by the experts of the working group ANO “Digital economy”, reports TASS.

As noted, the initiative proposes to include in the Federal program “Information security” national project “Digital economy”. In addition, the participants of the working group was advised to make the program even more items of expenditure, in particular on the analysis of security of state information systems and advanced training and professional retraining of the teaching staff in the field of information security.

In total, the implementation of the Federal program proposes to allocate 7 billion rubles more initial planned amount of 30 billion rubles. While 6 billion of additional funds will be allocated from the state budget. The working group’s proposals will be sent for approval to the Ministry, the final decision will be made by the government.

Improving digital literacy and the mastery of the Russians core competencies of the digital economy envisaged in the national project “Digital economy”. Only the implementation of the national project it is planned to allocate more than 1.8 trillion rubles. It also implies an increase of internal costs for the development of the digital economy at the expense of all sources, the creation of sustainable and secure information and telecommunications infrastructure for high speed transmission, processing and storage of large amounts of data, as well as the transfer of government agencies and organizations to use mainly software developed in Russia.
