President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko promised to discuss with Russian leader Vladimir Putin the fact of interference in the elections of the President, BelTA informs.
Lukashenko said the Internet spread a “terrible fake” to discredit the Belarusian authorities — for example, that his son has 840 million dollars in Switzerland. “Send up through diplomatic channels a letter: who wants to take the money may immediately be taken,” he said.
According to Lukashenko, such information believe people who do not understand the Bank documents. “By the way, it is tossed structures “babichevskaya”, “nazarani” from Russia. It is not ours, it comes from Russia information,” he said.
He added that his opponents are “puppeteers” from abroad.
“And live in Poland, and Russia throw. We talked about this with President Putin talk shortly at the meeting, but this situation is very difficult, — said Lukashenko. — Apply the most modern phony technology, is the intervention from abroad in our elections.”
He noted that Belarus — not a nuclear power, so it can not threaten. “We can’t take a nuclear warhead, waving and shouting or talking about hypersonic weapons,” — said Lukashenko.
Election of the President of Belarus on 9 August. Two opponents of Lukashenko, blogger Sergei tikhanovski and former head of Belgazprombank Viktor Babariko, was arrested. This caused protests. Authorities said that bobariko were “puppeteers” of “Gazprom”. Lukashenka argued that at stake is the independence of Belarus.
