Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal said that the country will live with quarantine restrictions as long as the world will develop a cure for coronavirus. About it writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“Until we see that June and July we will live in the quarantine restrictions. In larger, or smaller, but they will not give up. Moreover, we will live in the quarantine restrictions until, until we find a treatment Protocol, medication, vaccine, or something that can help us to manage mortality,” — said the politician.
According to Smagala, no state is currently unable to predict “when will COVID-19”. He stressed that the main aim of the authorities now is to “bring the country with minimal losses until finding a cure.” That is why Ukrainians will be left in quarantine.
“If the mortality of this disease in Ukraine today between 2.5-2.9 percent, the classic influenza is up to 1 percent, about 0.8 percent of people die. (…) And there are countries where the mortality rate exceeds 10 percent. It’s one in ten people is really scary, it’s a catastrophe,” — stated the Prime Minister.
Earlier on 25 June, Smigel threatened to reintroduce throughout the country’s strict quarantine, if the Ukrainians will continue to ignore security measures. “The situation is much worse. The reason people no longer respect the quarantine,” he said.
