The international football Federation (FIFA) will allocate up to $ 1.5 billion to address the economic impact of the pandemic coronavirus. This is the official website of the organization.
Each member Association of the Federation will receive a basic grant in the amount of $ 1 million. Additionally, there will be 500 thousand for the development of women’s football. Another $ 2 million will be allocated to each Confederation.
Other means FIFA will direct the issuance of interest-free loans. The maximum size of loans for associations will amount to $ 5 million for the confederations 4 million. Dedicated FIFA money can be used to help clubs, professional leagues and other football entities have suffered losses due to the pandemic coronavirus.
FIFA was founded in 1904. At the moment, the organization consists of 11 associations and the six confederations.
