The cost of the Russian grade of oil Urals on Thursday, 25 June, rose 0.4 percent to 43.25 dollar, so it became more a record of standard grade Brent. Award in the North-Western Europe reached 2.35 dollar is the maximum value in the history of the monitoring, according to pricing Agency Argus.
The award in the Mediterranean for two days remained at the level of 2.4 dollars per barrel, and the absolute value of Urals has risen to 43.3 per dollar. During the week the price of Urals rose above $ 45, but these values were recorded on the background of a sharp rise in prices for standard grade.
The export of Urals in the sea in July will be reduced by 534 thousand barrels per day compared with June, which will be the minimal value for the whole period of monitoring Agency, since 2002. Experts attribute the record growth of the award with a restriction of shipments, which is due to quotas that limit the production, undertaken by Russia as part of the deal, OPEC+.
More likely, the reduction will affect Primorsk, which will take only 307 thousand barrels per day. This represents less than one third of the level which was recorded last July.
