The Yekaterinburg diocese has commented on reports about the attack on TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak and her crew during the filming of the Ural monastery, stating that from the first day asked journalists not to escalate the situation. On Saturday, June 27, RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the diocese.
“The diocese from the first day asked journalists not to escalate the situation because Sredneuralsky in the monastery today there is a spiritually unhealthy situation. The incident is necessary to understand to law enforcement bodies”, — noted there.
Earlier on July 27, Sobchak in his Telegram channel reported that during the filming of the monastery on her team was attacked. She, along with the crew is located in Yekaterinburg, which will host a Church trial shehurina Sergiy (Romanov), seized Sredneuralskaya convent. It was noted that the journalist wanted to make a film about a priest.
The presenter later posted footage of the attack. The footage shows that Sobchak did not allow to pass to the monastery to talk with shehurina Sergius.
