Most often the Russians are taking the first loan in age from 23 to 42 years. The share of such borrowers amounted to 66 percent. In General, funds spent on major goals: 46 percent of respondents said that they took out a loan for repairs, another 20 percent on the purchase of cars, 19 per cent organized the event, and 15 percent bought small appliances.
While a large proportion among those Russians who took the first loan at the age of 18 to 23 years. It was 26 percent. “Most borrowers from the youngest categories allowed credit facilities for purchasing all kinds of gadgets and devices”, — noted in the study. They need young people for active communication, in addition, gadgets play the role of a social indicator.
Of respondents, 68 per cent of borrowers took out a loan for the purchase of flagship smartphones. Another 13 percent bought laptops, 8% use tablets, 6 percent on — ear headphones, and the remaining 5 percent gyrometer, Segways and other equipment.
Loans on a more substantial purpose, take the older generation. So, according to the survey, only 8 percent of respondents from 42 to 65 years, first took funds at interest. 38 percent of respondents from this group were sent their to help children, 27 percent for business development, 22 percent used it to buy an apartment or cottage, 13 per cent spent on treatment.
The survey was attended by five thousand people in Russia aged 18 to 65 years.
