Russian President Vladimir Putin went to the “red zone” in the medical center in Kommunarka, where the treatment of patients with coronavirus to “verify with my own eyes how it all works”. He told about it in interview to the program “Moscow. The Kremlin. Putin” on TV channel “Russia 1”, transmits “Interfax”.
“It is one thing to know on the reports, and another — to come and to see. I have always, in fact, so did, where would that occur,” he said. He added that “everything was against” his campaign in the red zone, but it before visiting the hospital and consulted with experts and found out how to best protect themselves from infection.
Meanwhile, Putin said that “meant” the risk of infection. “But then Mishustin had been sick, so freedom of behavior at the highest levels I had,” added the head of state.
On March 24, Putin personally visited the hospital in the Moscow village of Kommunarka. He talked to the head doctor Denis Protsenko, who later discovered coronavirus, and also visited patients in a protective suit and a respirator.
