Sales of antidepressants in Russia in the period from 1 March to 1 June this year has increased. This conclusion follows from research analysts DSM Group, reports RT.
According to the study, Russians were more likely to buy antidepressants are on average ten percent more than in the same period last year. In particular, in March sales growth was 35 percent compared to last year, and for the last two weeks of the month — 60 percent.
It has sold 2.3 million boxes of drugs for the sum more than 1,4 billion rubles. Experts noticed that the peak of growth of sales of the antidepressant coincided with the beginning of the pandemic coronavirus and the introduction of the regime of self-isolation in many regions of Russia.
