In Kazakhstan will return to strict quarantine restrictions to combat the pandemic coronavirus. The order gave the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, reports June 29, “Sputnik Kazakhstan”.
Tokayev instructed officials for two days to develop and submit a proposal “on the introduction of a rigid quarantine by analogy with those which operated in March-may of this year.”
State Commission under the leadership of Prime Minister needs to come up with a solution to combat the pandemic and to provide centralized control for the allocation of critical resources, said Tokayev at the meeting.
He compared the situation in the early stages of the war. “We, in fact, are at war, where there are very different rules. It’s not the festivals and forums to carry out. Require a completely different management style, in the present crisis”, — said Tokayev.
The Kazakh leader added that their tasks to combat coronavirus or not implemented or not fully implemented. In this regard, reprimanded the heads of Shymkent, Aktobe and Pavlodar regions. The governors of Nur the Sultan and Alma-ATA, as well as Minister for digital development and received comments.
According to the latest data, Kazakhstan contracted the coronavirus more than 21 thousand people, recovered 13 thousand died in 183 patients. From March 16 to may 11 the country had a state of emergency. Most severe restrictions were in the largest cities, where citizens were forbidden to go outside unless necessary.
