Former Russian figure skater Betina Popova, who spoke in ice dancing in his Instagram spoke about the difficult relationships with a partner.
According to the athlete, from the age of 12 she was forced to endure the taunts, as her partner was older, and the coaches explained his behavior transitional age. Popov also said that in 14 years she has been asked to show the dance “sex, passion and respect for the boy”, although she did not understand how to do it.
The skater added that the sport instilled in her perverted concept of relationship between men and women. This is due to the fact that ice dancing partner is given much more attention.
Earlier on Monday, 29 June, Popova told about the negative impact of professional sports on child development. According to her, due to excessive focus on the training process of children grow up unbalanced personalities.
23-year-old Popov — the silver prize-winner of superiority of Russia among juniors, the winner of the bronze medal of the Junior Grand Prix final and the winner of the Universiade in ice dancing. From 2009 to 2016, she performed in pair with Yuri Vlasenko, then skated with Sergey Mozgovoy. The athlete has decided to retire in February of this year.
