The border between Russia and Belarus will be opened in late July — early August. Such forecast was made the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko. His words “Interfax”.
The diplomat came to this conclusion based on the fact that in Russia there is an improvement of the epidemiological situation. Semashko said that he sees great momentum in Moscow, where cases in a day 600-700 people and recovered — two-three thousands throughout Russia in General.
According to his assurances, the Russian authorities have introduced some relief for the border crossing. “Recently the Russian government adopted a decree that allows you to navigate through the Belarusian-Russian border the workers”, — said the Ambassador.
Earlier in June, the foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Lavrov commented on the fact that Russians travel abroad through Belarus. Responding to a reporter’s question RT Anton Krasovsky, the diplomat said that no one can deny the Russians use of this opportunity.
June 19, in the course of Lavrov’s visit to Minsk was signed an agreement on mutual recognition of visas. The agreement means that now Russia will let foreigners into the country for Belarusian visas, and Belarus — by Russian.
In June, Russia also announced that the opening of borders to travel abroad to work, study or to care for relatives. This statement was made by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. In addition, the Prime Minister said that travel abroad can and those citizens who need to obtain medical assistance in other States.
