The price of gasoline AI-95 has updated the historical maximum and set new record. About this RIA Novosti reported, citing data from the Saint-Petersburg international Mercantile exchange (SPIMEX).
At the end of trading Monday, June 29, the price reached 58,174 thousand rubles per ton (with delivery in the European part of Russia on a national index). In comparison with the previous indicator, the cost rose 0.4 percent.
Price growth continues from the middle of the month. Experts attribute this to a deficit of gasoline AI-95, which emerged on the market, and demand from petrol stations and traders.
Commenting on the increase in wholesale prices, the Russian authorities assure that retail is not affected. According to Deputy Minister of energy of Russia Pavel Sorokin, the shortage of fuel in the country is not a company fulfill its production plans.
