The former President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia. From jail the former head of state was taken to the hospital, reports TASS with reference to the press-center of State Committee for national security (SCNS).
The report also indicated that complaining on feeling bad convict promptly made a test for the coronavirus. The analysis gave a negative result.
It is noted that last week Atambayev met several times with relatives and lawyers. Those gave him parcels and documents. According to the press service of the national security Committee, one of the lawyers observed respiratory symptoms.
A week ago it was reported that the former leader of Kyrgyzstan was sentenced to 11 years and 2 months imprisonment for the unlawful release of criminal authority Aziz batukaeva. In addition, the court decided to confiscate the former policy of state awards and property.
In 2006, Batukaev was sentenced to 16 years and 8 months of imprisonment with confiscation of property. Seven years later, he moved from Kyrgyzstan, having received conditionally-an early release due to “serious illness.”
Atambayev also is accused of murder, the organization of the seizure of power, corruption and illicit enrichment. In August 2019 Kyrgyz special forces during an attempt of detention of the state clashed with his supporters. Later, the ex-President handed indictments on charges of rioting.
