The transport Ministry revealed details of the plan for the resumption of international air service, interrupted because of the restrictions imposed on the background of the pandemic coronavirus. This was stated by the head of Department Eugene Dietrich, reports “Interfax”.
According to him, foreign flights in the first place, can be run in CIS countries. “Maybe we can start there flights before General mezhdunarodku”, — said the Minister.
Dietrich also said that this issue is currently being negotiated with the Federal air transport Agency.
On 26 June, the Minister of transport outlined the possible terms of restoration of the international passenger traffic. According to him, it could happen in July of this year — only after having secured the safety of air travel within the country.
The plans of the Russian airlines to resume flights abroad became known on June 7. “Interfax” with reference to an informed source reported that this may happen on 15 July with a steady decline in the number infected with the coronavirus and subject to strict Board of health regulations.
It is assumed that the first return flight in the countries of the Eurasian economic community and CIS. The final list of international destinations that can be restored flights, will determine jointly the Federal air transport Agency and the Federal service.
Russia halted scheduled and Charter flights from other countries on March 27. With the exception of the flights organized for the return of Russians from abroad, and private flights on behalf of the government.
