The Federal service for military-technical cooperation of Russia (FSMTC) said that the export of s-400 from Turkey to other countries without the permission of Russia is impossible. This was stated by the official representative Maria Vorobyov, reports “Interfax”.
As explained Vorobyov, in such case, the buyer of Russian military equipment is obliged to provide Russia with the end-user certificate. Thus, the transfer of weapons to other countries without Russian permission impossible.
Previously, the publication Defense News reported that the U.S. wants to buy from Turkey the Russian s-400, which will allow Ankara to take part in the program of the American F-35. According to them, an appropriate amendment to the draft law on budget allocations for national defence in 2021 fiscal year was proposed by Senator John Thune.
Agreement to supply Turkey’s four battalions of s-400 “Triumph” in Russia concluded in September 2017. The value of the contract amounted to $ 2.5 billion, half will cover the Russian loan. Deliveries to Turkey started in July 2019.
