Sports columnist Stephen A. Smith doubts that the players of the National basketball Association (NBA) will comply with safety rules for the resumption of the season in Florida. He said this in the live show First Take on ESPN.
The journalist fears that the players will not be able to spend three months without their wives and girlfriends. “I don’t think they will try to break out of this bubble?” asks Smith.
According to observers, the lack of sex can trigger a violation of the security protocols that will operate during the resumed NBA season. In July the team will travel to Florida where I will spend the rest of the championship.
On 27 June it became known that in the NBA there were 16 cases of infection with coronavirus. The resumption of the season is scheduled for July 30. The teams will arrive in Florida on 7 July to conduct training camp.
The draw of the NBA was interrupted due to pandemic coronavirus in March. After the resumption of the tournament will be held in a special format. All matches will be held in Florida.
