In Russia should be prohibited to use by car sharing drivers who systematically violate traffic rules (SDA). The proposal was made by the head of traffic police Mikhail Chernikov in an interview with “Arguments and Facts”.
As noted Chernikov, the growing popularity of car-sharing has led to the fact that administering a leased car drivers were more likely to get into an accident, because they believe that “the”impersonal” the car can be operated in the most rigid form”.
“It is important to increase the requirements of the users of car-sharing services. For example, by prohibiting to drive the rental vehicle, if the driver was repeatedly observed in illegal behavior behind the wheel,” he explained.
According to the head of traffic police of Russia to fight the worst offenders, carsharing company must create a special database, and if necessary — send a request to the state for verification of individuals subject to deprivation of the right of control and the presence of gross and systematic violations of traffic regulations.
