TV presenter Vladimir Solovev has commented on the conviction of a former bookkeeper, “the Seventh Studio” Nina Massieu, recognized guilty of fraud. The opinion he published in the Telegram-channel.

Solovyev noticed that despite the conviction Maslyaeva was released in the courtroom. “But “progressives” don’t care anymore… it’s not “tusovochka””, — he wrote.

Petty-bourgeois court of Moscow has appointed Nina Massieu penalty of two years and three months in prison. After that it was released in the courtroom in connection with serving the term in jail and under house arrest during the investigation.

The case of the “Seventh Studio” started with a search and arrest operations in may 2017. Held by the witness of artistic Director of “Gogol-center” Kirill Serebrennikov detained and placed under house arrest after Nina Maslyaeva called him the organizer of the fraudulent scheme.

Serebrennikov was sentenced to three years of probation. Other defendants in the case also received suspended sentences: Yuri Itin to three years of probation, Alex Malopolski to two years of probation. The court sought to 129 million rubles at the suit of the Ministry of culture. They were found guilty in the criminal case of embezzlement of funds allocated from the state budget for the theater project “Platform”.
