President Vladimir Putin has full confidence in sanitary measures at each site. This was stated press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov in response to the question of why the President came to vote on the amendments to the Constitution without a mask, transfers the edition “Rise”.
A Kremlin spokesman stressed that this was not due to disregard safety measures.
Earlier on Wednesday, the main day of voting, Vladimir Putin arrived at the station in the building of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences in southwest Moscow. Later it became known that participation in the vote was attended and the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin. He was without a mask and gloves. After the vote, he noted that determined the future of the country.
On the eve of 30 June, Putin urged Russians to take part in the plebiscite. He stressed that without the approval of the amendments to the basic law will not be introduced.
A nationwide vote on the issue of constitutional change takes place from 25 June to 1 July.
