A political assessment will give the attempts of outside interference in the voting process on the Constitution on 6 July, said the head of the Federation Council Commission for the protection of the sovereignty and prevent interference in Russia’s internal Affairs Andrey Klimov. It is quoted by TASS on Thursday, July 2.

The Senator did not rule out that will require improving the Russian legislation. “This, of course, be made with maximum consideration to support the people constitutional changes,” he said.

Klimov recalled that previously, the monitoring group established attempts of provocations in the country. According to him, they were organized “forces of persons, which Washington and its partners decided to make a bet in his anti-Russian plan.”

In particular, we are talking about misinformation Russians in connection with the upcoming vote on the lines of the Western media-registered as foreign agents, the mass distribution of fakes in social networks.

The vote on the amendments was held from 25 June to 1 July inclusive. Residents of most of the Russian regions supported the amendments to the Basic law — the amendment was voted 77.92 percent.
