In the first half of 2020, the sales of expensive housing in Moscow fell — the number of transactions with the elite real estate has decreased on third in comparison with the figure for the same period of 2019. This is stated in the materials of Knight Frank, arrived in edition “Tapes.ru”.
According to analysts, the average price of luxury apartments shows a stable positive trend: since the beginning of this year it increased 7 percent, to 864 thousand rubles per square meter. Until the end of the year, the cumulative growth of prices for luxury housing at the level of 5-7 percent.
“The results of the quarantine months for the high-end market emerged in almost two-fold reduction in the volume of transactions, — experts say. — Despite the increase in the number of incoming calls/requests for housing during these months, only some of them were converted in the transaction. First, it was affected by restrictions in the operation of multipurpose centres and of Rosreestr, the inability to conduct screenings, and then the unwillingness of the buyers to make transactions remotely.”
According to Knight Frank, for the second quarter of 2020 in Moscow it sold about 130 of elite flats and apartments (minus 57 percent in the annual dynamics). In just the first half in the elite segment is concluded more than 360 deals.
Earlier in July it was reported that the most expensive apartment in Moscow is worth 2.7 billion rubles, and the maximum price per square meter in new buildings of the capital of almost four million rubles.
